Website Design Process We like to make the process from domain registration to completion as easy as possible for you. To help you understand the procedure, here is a rough outline of how we go about it: 1. Domain registration We register your choice of domain name. We find the ideal domain name for you. It is important to get the domain name correct,…. too long and it will be difficult for people to remember. If you already have a domain name this step is omitted. 2. Hosting is set up: Hosting of a website is where it sits on the Internet so others can view it. We host you site on one of dedicated web servers. 3. We look at design ideas for the website Supply us with the text and your logo for the web design. Or we can create from scratch corporate branding, business identity packages, logo etc 4. View a test site: Once agreed on logo design, colour scheme and feel of the site we go ahead and create a test page for you to approve. 5. The remaining site is put together: At this stage we need all your remaining content - text, photos etc. Content needed will defer depending on web site specific. 6. We set up email addresses that are listed on the site: Our hosting packages come with multiple email addresses that you can access from anywhere in the world. We can also assist you to set up your PC to use Outlook to receive email. |
